Key Features
The Keeley Magnetic Echo is a pedal that simulates tube tape echo sounds through the use of delay circuits and adding some modulation. This gives you gorgeous, vintage tube tones that are reminiscent of some of the most legendary early amplifiers of the 1960s, completely tailorable to your taste. The pedal offers a warm, guitar friendly version of delay, with controls to alter the delay and modulation to create a classic, unique and individual voice.
Using a touch of low-fi delay, a slightly filtered echo response and a sprinkle of modulation, this pedal will produce incredible delays. What's more, the Magnetic Echo is housed within a robust metal chassis that works to protect all the internal components from exposure to dust and moisture, guaranteeing a long-lasting performance that is ready for the road. Designed to sound great and to last this pedal is the ideal delay solution for any gigging guitarist.

The Keeley Magnetic Tape Echo is designed to simulate the sounds of those tube tape echoes of yesteryear by using delay circuitry and implementing a little modulation. Tube tape echoes have been known to produce a warm, guitar friendly echo, and the Magnetic Echo stays true to this by using a touch of lo-fi delay and slight filtered echo response to produce the warmth. The modulation offers a slight weaving pitch on the ends of the repeats to simulate the modulation that occurs when the tapes are pulled across the heads.
The Keeley Magnetic Tape Echo is equipped with three controls for the delay and two controls for the modulation to provide the ability to create and re-shape completely unique, vintage tones. The echo can be adjusted with the delay time control knob which sets the length between repeats - from 40ms to 600ms. Use the regen knob to control how many repeats the echo has, offering different types of echoes for a single slapback echo to self-oscillating or self-regenerating echoes. The delay level control knob acts as the pedal's mixer, providing control over the loudness of the echoes.
On top of this, you can manipulate the modulation by using the two control knobs for depth and rate. An LED light glows to indicate how much modulation is affecting the pedal's echo. The depth control allows for a deeper sounding chorus and provides pitch shifting in the echo. What's more, the rate control alters the performance of the tape echo, creating interesting sounds as well as offering a pitch modulation.
