The user manual for the tELHARMONIC, containing technical data and instructions for use, can be accessed here.
The Make Noise tELHARMONIC features the Spiratone inside it. The Spiratone is a form of Shepard Tone generator, which is a sonic barber pole which creates the auditory illusion of a tone that continually ascends of descends in pitch, yet ultimately seems to get no higher or lower. To use the Spiratone, simply make sure nothing is patched to D-Gate, and hold H-Lock for 5 seconds. You will notice a dramatic change in the sound when activated. The Spiratone is inspired by Jean-Clause Risset's "Computer Suite from Little Boy: Fall" and James Tenney's "For Ann (Rising)."
