The Vermona DSR-3 is a vintage stereo, spring reverb processor including an integrated 2-band equalizer. The DSR-3 Spring Reverb was developed to produce stereophonic spring reverberation for audio professionals. The versatile operating modes are ideal for both parallel and serial use. The exceptional audio fidelity is thanks to the AccuBell springs. The DSR-3 is manually checked by professionals at Vermona to ensure a perfectly matched stereo sound. The result is high-quality spring reverberation that is reminiscent of older spring reverbs, thanks to its mechanical spring design.
Each channel of the DSR-3 includes a two-band equalizer. The equalizer section includes dedicated bass and treble controls that have been carefully matched to the frequency range of the springs. This allows you to adjust the sound to your requirements with optimal flexibility. There are three operational modes in total, including stereo for stereophonic sound sources. There is also Dual mono for two independent sound sources and serial for experimental effects. The front-panel features an ergonomic layout that includes vintage-style rotary knobs for Gain, bass, Treble, mix and Output controls.
The vintage-style design is reminiscent of classic reverb units from the late 70s and early 80s. The robust yet sleek design utilises an all-metal chassis for optimal durability and longevity. The rack-mountable design will take up only 2 units of space in a rack, and its compact design is ideal for both live and studio applications. The DSR-3 can treat everything from vocals to instruments and everything in between, making it one of the most versatile reverb units on the market. The front-panel includes a single ¼-inch input, as well as switched for bypassing the effect and switches for toggling between modes. The rear of the unit features XLR inputs and outputs for both channels, as well as ¼-inch jacks.
