The Gretsch Renown 57 3pc Shell Pack & G3 Hardware bundle is one of the most versatile drum sets ever made. It has everything you need to recreate the best sounds of decades gone by. Whether that's the smooth grooves of the 50s, the pop attack of the 60s & 70s, or the clarity and vibrance required for the clean studio sounds of the 80s, 90s and beyond. The Renown 57 Shell Pack features shells with Gretsch's classic, 7-ply formula maple - providing that traditional Gretsch sound with an incredible open, harmonic tone.
Meanwhile, this special series of the Renown comes with a new twist: the addition of Gretsch's player-friendly '302' hoops. Gretsch 302 hoops produce the same focused sounds like that of a die cast hoop, but are lighter in weight and less rigid, allowing the drum to breath better and achieve maximum resonance. But what really sets the Renown 57 apart is its classic car aesthetic, thanks to a Silver Oyster Pearl lacquer finish with an overlapping Chevron crest. What's more, this bundle also comes complete with a Gretsch G3 Series hardware pack that includes two cymbal stands, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a kick drum pedal

The Gretsch formula
The Renown 57 Shell Pack might look old school, but the technology behind the Gretsch Formula Maple drums is rooted in the 21st century. Sourced from Canada and the USA, these 7-ply shells feature rock maple wood that offers warm, harmonic tones in any setting. From the studio to the stage, these are drums designed for players who revel in the spotlight.
Maximum resonance
And to further improve their sound quality, the Renown 57 shells are fitted with Gretsch's bespoke 302 hoops and Remo drum heads. These distinctive hoops are 3mm thick, double-flanged and reminiscent of the hoops used by Gretsch until the mid 1950s. Producing a slightly more open and ambient sound than more traditional die-cast Gretsch hoops.
A vintage look like no other
And if the stunning Silver Oyster Pearl lacquer finish wasn't enough, the Renown 57 Shell Pack's drums feature overlapping Chevron crests. Channeling the timeless style of many a classic car from the 20th century, and imparting the sense of a player concerned with looking as impressive as they sound. You'll struggle to find drums with such a unique design elsewhere.

Sturdy boom and straight cymbal stands
The Gretsch G3 Series cymbal stands feature a gearless tilter, allowing you to lock your cymbals in at any angle for optimal playability. Additionally, the graduated tube joints allow you to select the desired height of the cymbal stand, with integrated nylon fibre memory locks to provide stable and consistent height settings every time you play.
Gretsch hardware features 3mm double-braced legs which provide exceptional durability and ensure movement remains at a minimum, even with heavy rides and crashes mounted. The G3 cymbal stands are topped off with classic Gretsch white cymbal felts and an ergonomic knurled wing nut.
Double-braced hi-hat stand
Ensuring optimal cymbal positioning - essential for any drummer. The Gretsch G3 Series Hi-Hat Stand features a direct pull chain to provide exceptional responses - perfect for fast playing styles. The integrated nylon fibre memory height lock allows you to find the optimal height for your hi-hats and lock them in for reliable and consistent height settings every time you play.

An adjustable pedal height and beater angle allows you to finely tune the pedal to your exact specifications - matching the speed and responses of the pedal to your desires. This makes the G3 Single Pedal extremely versatile and able to hold its own across any style of drumming. With a rubber-lined hoop arm and an easy-adjusting offset hoop clamp, the Gretsch G3 Single Pedal fastens securely to your bass drum, providing exceptional stability and reliability during performances.
