Vintage Style Guitar with Ornate Details

This SJ-200 has a flamed 3 piece Maple, Vintage Sunburst neck with Rosewood stringer for added strength and stability. A select Rosewood fingerboard is beautifully finished with pearl Bella Voce inlays. A bound headstock is adorned with a pearl Gibson logo and Bob Dylan eye logo detail.

Impressive Tone Ready for Stage or Studio

The premium tonewoods used in this guitar's construction plus scalloped hide glue x-bracing and traditional SJ-200 dimensions mean it really belts out an impressive tone. This jumbo acoustic body gives a similar sound to other SJ-200s but with extra projection and more depth of character.

The included L.R. Baggs™ Anthem® pickup lets you take this iconic guitar from studio to stage with ease. The award-winning Anthem Series, featuring TRU˙MIC technology, seamlessly combines a proprietary condenser microphone with an Element pickup to deliver the warmth and fidelity of a studio-mic'd guitar anywhere you perform.

At the heart of the Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture a dynamic studio-mic'd sound for any live performance. The TRU˙MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers just 3 mm above its surface to take advantage of the PZM or "boundary" effect. This proprietary mounting system, combined with noise cancellation, frees the mic to perform as if it were outside of the guitar in a studio and maintain remarkable feedback suppression for the stage.

The result is a balanced frequency response with excellent clarity for the purest sound you have ever heard amplified. Gibson have paired the Element pickup with the TRU˙MIC to provide solidity and punch for low frequencies.

Premium Hardware for Professional Players

This guitar has some premium appointments for professional players. The tuners are high-quality, open backed, Waverly machine heads that have been finished in gold. The bone nut has been cut perfectly so this guitar is playable right out the box and the bridge has been designed to keep even string tension and provide perfect intonation every time you pick it up.

The Bob Dylan SJ-200 includes a black case complete with artists 'eye' logo with plush purple lining.

In the 1960s his work was famous for chronicling social unrest and many of his famous songs have become anthems for American civil rights movements. Dylan is one of the most well known singer songwriters in recent history.
