Give the performance of a lifetime with the unique ML body shape of this guitar. Designed by Dean Zelinski in 1977, it maximises sustain thanks to its large surface area, resulting in a fuller tone. The mahogany it has been crafted from then offers an abundance of both practical and tonal qualities. Whilst being comfortable to hold, it is also exceptionally sturdy and durable. These are compelling attributes for not only the body, but the neck too, which has also been constructed from mahogany. Play with any amount of aggression knowing the Dean ML 79 can handle it and thrive.
By emphasising the lower and mid-range frequencies, mahogany offers a wonderfully warm tone with brilliant grind and bite. It is perfect for annihilating amplification and building upon with electrifying overtones.
