Dual stereo reverb engines

The Electro Harmonix Oceans Abyss Dual Stereo Reverb Pedal is built around two fully independent reverb engines, each capable of operating in true stereo. This lets you create rich, layered soundscapes that can be panned across the stereo field for immersive spatial depth. With ten reverb types available – including Hall, Spring, Plate, Shimmer, Polyphonic, and Auto-Infinite – each engine can be tailored to suit your exact needs. You can run complementary reverbs side by side or blend massive, evolving textures for unique ambient environments. The dual-engine design offers a level of depth and flexibility far beyond typical reverb pedals.

Customisable effects routing

A standout feature of the Oceans Abyss is its fully flexible signal path routing. You can insert up to eight different FX blocks into your chain, selecting from delay (digital, analog, or tape), chorus, tremolo, flanger, phaser, graphic EQ, saturation, volume, and bit crusher. Two of these blocks can be reverbs, while the rest are freely assignable from the available FX options. This modular structure allows you to construct your own custom effect chain within the pedal, building everything from simple tones to complex stereo rigs. Every setup can be stored to one of 128 onboard presets for quick recall on stage or in the studio.

Deep editing with intuitive control

Despite its powerful architecture, the Oceans Abyss remains easy to use thanks to its high-visibility OLED display and ergonomic interface.
