Antiquity JB feel

The Antiquity JB delivers rich harmonics, and a balance of sustain, distortion and clarity, sweetened by the mellowing effect of a custom aged alinco 5 bar magnet and years of simulated sweat, dust, and oxidation. Wound to the original spec of 16.4k, that familiar JB sound is all there, but the treble attack is softened by the aging process. Each Antiquity JB is hand crafted with the same materials that the originals were made with back in the 70s, including long legged nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, original JB model stamp, rough sand cast alnico 5 magnet, heavily aged butyrate bobbins, and vintage style push-back braided single conductor lead wire. The electronic and cosmetic treatments of the Antiquity aging process give this pickup the look, style, sound, and feel of original model.

The Antiquity Humbucker Range

The Antiquity Humbucker range offers an authentic pickup that is true to the original. The airy and sweet sound gives a very specific growl when pushed to its limits. Each and every component right down to the magnets is specifically hand crafted to portray the original 50s sound and appearance. Even the bridge model is wound slightly hotter to reflect the mismatched sets which were extremely common in the original models.
