Fast, hands-on control through touchscreen interface
At the centre of the Fireball is a responsive 2” touchscreen that makes sound design immediate and fluid. Swipe gestures on the X/Y pad give you live control over key parameters, ideal for expressive tweaks during performance or production. The interface also gives you full access to filters, envelopes, LFOs and modulation settings, helping you dive into the details of each patch. Two physical knobs and four buttons offer fast access to common tasks. This layout speeds up your workflow, keeping sound exploration fun and productive. It removes the friction that often comes with small-format synths.
Layer complex sounds with eight-voice polyphony
Fireball’s engine includes dual wavetables and one additional oscillator, giving you three sound sources to mix, blend or modulate. Each of the eight voices features its own filters, envelopes and LFOs, along with a modulation sequencer that adds movement and variety. The voice architecture supports a wide range of tones, from aggressive digital leads to smooth, shifting pads. With 123 built-in presets and 103 wavetables, there is plenty to work with out of the box. You can also fine-tune or build patches from scratch using the touchscreen and menu system.
Built-in effects for shaping and enhancing sound
Fireball includes two assignable effects slots, offering six different effects for sound shaping. In slot one, choose from flanger, distortion, chorus or phaser. Slot two provides delay and reverb, letting you add space or rhythmic depth. These effects are part of the internal signal path, so you don’t need additional gear to polish or texture your patches. With up to 12 combinations available, you can customise the response of each patch and build effects chains to match your sound. This flexibility makes Fireball suitable for both studio layering and live performance use.
Compact build with full connectivity and storage
Designed for mobile setups and tight spaces, Fireball measures just 3.75” x 3” x 1.5” and weighs very little. It connects using 3.5mm mini TRS ports for MIDI input and output, and includes line-level audio input and output for sending or receiving signals. A mini TS clock input supports a range of sync resolutions for tighter integration with external sequencers or grooveboxes. The USB-C power input supports standard 5V, 500mA sources, including portable power banks. A microSD slot allows you to load your own wavetables, expanding the sonic range of the instrument. These features make Fireball a flexible, travel-ready tool that fits into most electronic music workflows.
