The Soundcraft Spirit Live 8 features 32 channels of exceptional audio quality, providing you with 32 mono and 2 stereo input channels for added versatility. The 32 mono microphone input channels give you more than enough space to mix and route a range of microphones to the mixer, providing high quality audio with an ergonomic layout. The full-features 8-bus desk combines comprehensive control and modern innovations to create this powerhouse of an analog mixer. The 8 busses gives you more options when it comes to live mixing, allowing you to group channels together for added control. The console is hard wearing and sturdy, designed for heavy use at an industry standard level. A rugged steel chassis is combined with moulded side trims to give protection and distinctive appearance.

UltraMic+ Preamps

Soundcraft utilises their custom preamp technology within the Spirit Live 8 for optimal audio quality on all channels. The UltraMic+ preamps provide you with the perfect balance between digital clarity and analog warmth, providing unparalleled transparency for high quality vocals and performance. The microphone channels also features switchable +48V phantom power on each channel, allowing you to connect and utilise studio quality condenser microphones for optimal vocal clarity. The preamps provide you with up to 66dB of gain range, ideal for the louder vocalist and instrument player.

Optimal Control

The Soundcraft Spirit Live 8 gives you a comprehensive range of controls that gives you more access to individual parameters, resulting in an ergonomic and streamlined design. The Spirit Live 8 features a 4-band EQ with two swept mid bands to give you more control over the sound design of your inputs. This allows you to do everything from provide subtle low-cuts for the vocals as well as increasing the low-end response for more pronounced depth and power. There are also additional output on the 10 x 2 matrix for added versatility. 6 Aux sends have been included for added convenience allowing you to connect a range of external audio equipment including multi-fx modules.
