Stream long samples without limitations

You can stream samples up to 4GB in size directly from the microSD card. This means you’re not restricted to short loops or small snippets. You can play full-length performances, backing tracks or soundscapes, all without loading them into internal memory. Streaming also helps keep CPU usage low, making performance smoother across complex projects.

It supports up to eight stereo samples at once, or 24 stereo polyphonic notes when using the internal 64MB RAM. This versatility makes it suitable for intricate layering, live triggering or detailed instrument sampling.

Record and resample with smart looping

The Nano Tangerine turns sampling into a hands-on, creative process. You can record in stereo or mono and even synchronise recording start and stop times using an external clock. You can also trigger recordings using audio thresholds for easy loop capturing during live sets or jams.

After recording, samples can be played back immediately, allowing seamless live looping. You can also resample the main output internally and record multi-sample banks using MIDI control, then save everything as WAV files for later use.

Touch control and tweakable parameters

Its touchscreen interface makes editing quick and precise. Adjust parameters such as sample start, pitch, loop modes and ADSR envelopes directly on the device. Pads can be assigned to one-shots, clips, sliced samples or full multi-sample sets with up to 576 WAVs and 16 velocity layers per preset.

This flexibility allows you to use the device as a groovebox, live looper, or sample-based instrument. MIDI input lets you map external controls for fast changes, ideal for performance or studio tweaking.
