A hugely detailed and precise sound is achieved through the unique S05 speaker design, which is comprised of a bacterial cellulose diaphragm, an organic compound that is purpose-grown for the S05 speakers. A biodegradable material that has immaculate acoustic properties to achieve the revered AIAIAI sound that is stronger and lighter than PET speakers. The bio-cellulose diaphragm is paired with a high-grade neodymium magnet to produce an exceptional frequency response with a clear mid-range and a huge amount of dynamics. The neodymium magnet paired with the custom bacterial cellulose diaphragm results in a speaker that is lighter and stiffer than standard headphone units, helping the diaphragm to vibrate freely whilst keeping distortion at a minimum even at high listening levels.
The S05 headphones have been painstakingly tuned to perfection, paying special attention to the clarity in the mid-range without compromising the extension in the bass range, this results in a very wide sound stage with great instrument separation. This can be noted in the full-range frequency response from 10Hz - 40,000kHz to cover the entire range of human hearing with ease to capture every detail and nuance in your music.
