Key Features
The Flame Quad CV-Recorder is a 4-channel CV recorder/looper that allows you to record control voltage courses from analog sequencers, LFOs, envelope generators, joysticks, and more. The Quad CV-Recorder records and plays back voltage curves from slow to fast speeds by moving the controllers. You can record up to 1 hour, and all 4 channels can be used either individually, or in groups of 2 or 4 tracks at any one time. Featuring several playback modes, the Flame Quad CV-Recorder allows you to choose the playback as one-shot, triggered by a gate, push button, or by MIDI start/stop. Additionally, you can set the start, end point, and speed of playback or of the loop, with CVs or the pot of the channel. You can also modify recordings by recording over certain parts whilst playing back the recording.

The Flame Quad CV-Recorder lets you record control voltages from a range of devices such as an analog sequencer, LFO, envelope generator, and the movement of joysticks. Simply use the two REC and PLAY buttons on the module to easily record control voltage and playback. Whilst the track is playing, it is possible to manually overwrite parts of the track. The old parts can be overwritten with new recorded parts by using the punch in/out recording. Simply press play then press REC to record over the old recording, then press REC again to finish recording.
Synchronisation via analog clock or MIDI clock is possible with the Quad CV-Recorder. You can record/play with the analog clock. When clock/MIDI synchronisation is used, you can choose between hard and soft levels for the CV interpolation. You can set the clock to soft using the button in the SHIFT section of the module. When set to soft the output is a smoothed voltage without audible increments. If you don't want smoothing you can set the clock setting to HARD for different results.
The Flame Quad CV-Recorder features various playback modes, and several functions for the playback controls. Whilst the track is playing you can control the speed, start and length parameters with pot or using the external CV input. You can choose between endless play back (LOOP), single play back (SINGLE), using the gate to play endlessly whilst holding down play (GATE), or you can manually scan the recorded sample with CV or movement of the pot (SCAN). Using the SCAN mode, the recorded sample can be scanned via CV input or the pot of the channel. The functions can be set separately for each track. You can choose the speed of the play back, and the start and end position of the sample track.
