JSD Miles McPherson Drums

The Miles McPherson Drums is a highly-detailed drum sample library with two unique drum kits recorded in two different studios. Produced and engineered by Joey Sturgis and performed by Miles McPherson, this sample library is primarily designed for more aggressive rock and metal genres but will work with virtually every genre thanks to it's ultra realistic and highly detailed sampling and versatile drum kit sounds. The Miles McPherson Drums library contains two separate drum kits recorded in two different sessions in different studios. The first Miles' personal drum kit recorded in his own home studio and the second was recorded in Starstruck Studios in Nashville. Miles' House kit encompasses a very raw and edgy tone that's vibey and grungy whilst the Studio Kit is clean, polished and filled with ambience.

Having recorded and performed for huge international artists, Miles' drumming technique is extremely precise and powerful. To take advantage of this, the Miles McPherson Drums goes into extreme sampling detail to provide authentic realism in your mixes. Bringing a human element to a polished production, this sample library has been recorded with both left and right hands for a much more accurate sound. Additional articulations include the ability to engage or disengage snare wire rattles across the full kit for more authentic bleed and also includes a VeloFilter switch to engage a velocity-sensitive low-pass filter for natural crescendos.
