Building on the success of the UF8 DAW controller, the SSL UC1 presents the next level in hardware plugin control. At the heart of the UC1 is the SSL 360 plugin mixer, a central hub for your plugins that gives you access and control in one virtual console overview to mix in unparalleled efficiency. Dedicated studio-quality encoders are combined with state of the art switches and a high-resolution display with a moving-coil gain reduction meter to create the ultimate centrepiece in your studio, giving you hands-on control like never before. Seamless integration with most major DAW's, the Solid State Logic UC1 provides you with professional SSL console ergonomics and sonic perfection.
Provided with the UC1 are full licenses for the SSL Native Channel Strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2 plugins. Expertly designed, the Channel Strip 2 meticulously recreates the EQ and dynamics curves from the legendary XL 9000 K SuperAnalogue console, utilising SSL's proprietary anti-cramping algorithms for the ultimate sonic signature in channel strip plugins. The Bus Compressor 2 opens up a new world of features with additional Ratio, Attack and Release options with x2 and x4 oversampling to capture every nuance and detail. The new update available for the UF8 and UC1 controllers features a whole range of enhancements and new features including updated versions of the Channel Strip 2 and 4K B plugins. The two plugins can now utilise a range of new functions including Follow selected DAW track, DAW Solo and Mute integration in Studio One, Live and REAPER. Channel Strip 2 also includes new Pan, Width, Compressor Mix, HQ Mode (oversampling) and an updated GUI.
The update also includes support for Merging Technologies' PYRAMIX and Universal Audio LUNA digital audio workstation (DAW) platforms the new profiles for both. The SSL 360° plugin has also been revamped with a new GUI with a range of new upgrades including the ability to control the plugin mixer transport from your computer keyboard. Last but not least, SSL have also included a 6-month subscription to SSL Complete, giving you access to all of SSL's plugins.

Delivering the most accurate and detailed modelling to date, the Bus Compressor 2 and Channel Strip 2 plugins have been developed from the modelling of the renowned XL 9000K console, providing you with everything you need achieve sonic perfection in your DAW. Intelligently talking back and forward, the UC1 and your Bus Compressor 2 plugin show your gain reduction meter using a classic moving-coil meter as found on traditional SSL consoles, letting you know the time constants and gain reduction amount of your instruments, groups and mix bus!

Ensuring that you are always in control of your mix, the UC1 features dedicated front panel encoders and an onboard high-resolution display to feedback how your mix is reacting with the adjustments you make.
