The SubZero SZ monitor series has been specifically designed to give accurate sound reproduction that is true to its source. With a wide frequency range of 75Hz to 20kHz, balanced tone and a high resolution flat response, the SZ series will not colour the sound. You'll be provided with a clear and accurate high end as well as a smooth, defined bottom end.
High quality speaker for reliable performance
You'll be provided with a hybrid set up of one active and one passive monitor. The SZSM-4X pair feature 4" drivers with a magnetically shielded mineral-filled polypropylene cone with a high temperature voice coil and a dampened rubber surround. This will provide you with an even, punchy low end, even at high volumes. Combined with the 3/4" magnetically shielded ferrofluid-cooled natural soft dome tweeter and the 2.7KHz crossover, these monitors will give clear and reliable sound, time after time.
Hard wearing versatile cabinet
The SubZero SZ monitor series are presented in high density MDF enclosures that have been specially designed to reduce noise and resonance. Designed to work either horizontally or vertically, the SZ series has a specially designed bass port on the back, which reduces resonance, and allows the monitors to sound great in all monitoring situations.
