The Trumix AR5 uses a bi-amped configuration, meaning it sends separate power to the woofer and the tweeter for more efficient and controlled sound reproduction. The 35-watt amplifier powers the woofer, while the 20-watt amp takes care of the tweeter. This approach reduces distortion and helps maintain a balanced frequency response across the board. With a maximum sound pressure level of 106 decibels, the AR5 provides enough volume for close-up monitoring without losing clarity.

A 5.25-inch woofer made from high-strength fibreglass handles the low and mid frequencies, offering tight, focused bass that works well even in untreated rooms. The 1.48-inch silk dome tweeter covers the top end, bringing out detail in vocals, percussion and synths. Together, they create a monitor that is suitable for detailed editing, mixing and playback across multiple genres.

Fine-tune your setup

Every room colours sound in different ways. The AR5 helps counter this by including adjustable high-frequency EQ on the rear panel.
