Effects Plugins

Effects Plugins are software-based virtual effects that are used within host software such as Sonar or Cubase. Much like hardware effects units, they can be virtually chained together to create an effects rack - Ableton Live allows users to create their own effects racks by combining plugins. Effects will range from traditional types such as reverb, delay and compression, to more advanced and experimental types such as granular delays, glitch and even pitch-correction like Celemony’s Melodyne.
